Day 28 Rainbow Poems
Red is powerful, like our courage to live
Orange is happy, like poppies on the hillside
Yellow is glorious, like the sun in the sky
Green is calming, like the trees in the forest
Blue is forever, like the sky up above
Indigo is intense, like human love
Violet is peaceful, like an armful of flowers
Whenever I see rainbows, I think of our daughter, Hanna
She loved drawing rainbows everywhere
When she died, my husband saw a rainbow
As he drove home, there it was, “Hi, Daddy!
I love you and I’m near!”
Now they are together
Guiding me to keep seeing rainbows
