There are so many stories to read
But there’s so little time
So maybe we should make it a creed
So it’s not a paradigm
Reading helps us all to learn
It teaches our children, too
So keep on reading and return
To the stories of our youth
Like Peter Pan, Alice’s Wonderland
Charlotte and her web
Wild Things, Little Engines Who Can
Let the stories never ebb
